Wednesday 14th May   – Windsurf **** The Manor at Felixstowe –  Sunny and warm.

Foil – 19.44  knot max, 17.44 knot ave., 11.81  knot hour, 14.55 knot mile, 33.36 km., 13.01 knot alpha.

Starboard Freeride 150 and a Evolution Freeride foil with a Tushingham Bolt 5.5.

The run of good weather continues with another day of deep blue sky’s with a good breeze from the NE, a tad windier than yesterday too! Again I head down to Squiz Lane at The Manor arriving at 9.30 to get out before the 1.20 high tide. I could not find my wind meter but it looked to be gusting to 20 knots so I took a chance with my 5.5 which proved ideal! The sea was fairly big but I got off the beach OK, no broken mast today, I have already found a replacement 4.30 which is on the way and I will have the batten pocket repaired too! I enjoyed a mellow session doing 8 long runs out in a sea that was pretty big just having fun with the swell, I had a poor day gybing especially on the outside but I got a few in the end! Again it was wind with tide so I just stayed in front of the launch beach, the wind is swinging to the north so we might have a trip over to the Stour tomorrow?
I actually got a BBC Editors Pick, the first one since 13th March and the same pic was used on the BBC instagam but nothing on the telly today!
