Woke to a lovely sunrise here in Felixstowe, I should have got uyp early and walk down to the seafront but as I was hoping to go windsurfing early I gave it a miss making do with a couple of pics out of our back bedroom window:) I checked Landguard live wind which showed around 20 knots, a balmy 9 degrees and wall to wall sunshine so a trip after breakfast over to Levington to make the most of the 10.15 high water! I dropped Mag off enroute for her daily walk I arrived at the marina at 9.15 with a nice breeze from the south I quickly set up my board and took a chance with my 6.5 again, Robert turned up for a sail who hasn’t been out for ages, he was testing out his ankle, hurt while canal walking, he rigged 5.3 but had to cut his session a little short as he had left his gloves at home and his hands got cold:( By the time I was ready to set off the breeze had picked up a little especially to the left on the coner where the wind blows straight down the River Orwell, I was soon up and flying and decided to sail upriver towards Pin Mill where the water was flat and the wind marginaly lighter but there was some good gusts when my 5.5 would have been OK:) I had a nice spell doing loads of runs by Levington Creek getting some good gybes with my top 10 all being over 14 knots, I was out a couple of hours not getting cold at all even after I went in dropping one gybe! I spotted a seal too plus the usual selection of waders with a buzzard circling overhead, definitely my best session of November! I hope to get out again on Sunday for my first session of December which will once again mean I have a session in every month this year! Then pack up, shower and home just after one where Mag was entertaining two lovely young ladies both over 20 who we childminded from babies, had a top chat:)

As I had seen the sunrise from in the house I decided to drive down to Felixstowe Ferry to see the sunset, passing 4 kitesurfers out in thr lagoon and got a few nice pics too, a bit nippy too!
